Is it really free, and what is the catch?+−
It is free. The tools run on your hardware rather than ours, which is also the feature. There is nothing to sell, because the files never reach us.
Do I need an account or an email?+−
No. There is no sign-up and nothing asks for your name or email. Open a tool and use it.
Is there a file size limit?+−
Not one the tools set. The real limit is your device's memory. A laptop handles a few hundred megabytes comfortably, an older phone much less, and the tool shows an error instead of uploading anything.
How long do you keep my files?+−
We never have them, so there is nothing to keep and nothing to delete. Processing happens in your browser tab and the result goes straight to your downloads folder.
Does it work on an iPhone?+−
Yes, in Safari or Chrome, with no app to install. Very large files can run out of memory on iOS sooner than on a laptop, because Safari limits how much one tab may use.
How do I know you are telling the truth?+−
Check it yourself. Open developer tools, switch to the Network tab, run any tool and look for a request the size of your file. It takes about thirty seconds, and you should do it to every PDF site you use.
